As you may know,
United Way of Decatur & Mid-Illinios has kicked off their 2009 Campaign and has set a goal of $2,250,000 for
Macon
County
. United Way will be reaching out to over 1,000 local businesses and organizations between October 12th and October 30th. We will be contacting these organizations via phone and asking them to consider conducting a Workplace Campaign. We are seeking volunteers to assist in making these calls during this 3 week stretch. No experience needed, volunteers will be provided training as well as a script. All of the calls will be made on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 11am or 2pm to 4pm from the United Way office located at 202 E. Eldorado in Decatur.
