United Way of Decatur & Mid-Illinois will always exist to help boost support of the community during hard times. More, we are here to raise moral and encourage movement toward a better tomorrow through involvement in community affairs, working to engage community members, providing a voice for those who often go unheard, and funding programs that bring favorable results. We are an unbiased advocate for our community's needs. We work to advance the coomon good by focusing on the basic building blocks for a good life--because everyone benefits when children are ready for school, teens aviod substance abuse, families have access to health care, and senior citizens maintain their independence.
