    The Big Obstacle 3K (BO3K) a new extreme obstacle race made up of military and inflatable obstacles comes to Decatur. Fairview Park will be transformed into a 3K (1.8 mile) self-timed course of climbing walls, tube tunnels, strength endurance and inflatable obstacles.  Awards for top male and female finishers in each competitive heat and ultra heat.  Must be 16 and older to participate.

    RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE

     

    Responsibilities:

    Creating, developing, and executing a multi-year, year-round strategic resource development plan to increase financial resources for United Way. Key responsibility areas include:

    Cultivating new campaigns

    Relationship management

    Analyzing data in order to develop key strategies to increase corporate, employee, and individual giving

    JOB OPENING - Director of Finance and Administration

    DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

     

    Responsibilities:

    Prepare monthly financial statements for Board of Directors.

    Reconcile the general ledger on a monthly basis.

    Prepare annual operating budget and semi-annual financial forecast with assistance from Executive Director.

    The movement was designed to create awareness amongst young adults/young professionals in Macon Coounty as to the needs of the community and how United Way is working to address those needs.
