2017 Day of Action
We are pleased to announce that this year’s Day of Action will take place on both Friday, August 18th and Saturday, August 19th. This is an annual event mobilizing hundreds of local volunteers to complete community service projects throughout Macon County. Any non-profit organization, school, church, or government entity may submit a project.
United Way’s 2-1-1 is an easy to remember phone number that connects individuals with resources in our community. 2-1-1 is your one-stop connection to the local services you need including utility assistance, food, housing, child care, after school programs, elder care, crisis intervention and much more. 2-1-1 is always ready to assist you in finding the help you need.

The United Way Campaign for the Common Good will mobilize millions of people and organizations across the country to take action and improve the education, income and health of America's communities. The campaign kicks off with a focus on education and an ambitious goal to cut the high school dropout rate in half.
